Lumira Sustainable Energy’s Flagship Project: The Eastern Cape Sustainable Bio-feedstock Production Hub Project (EC SBF)

A private sector-led initiative in the Eastern Cape, this hub aims to transform marginal land into a productive, certified bio-feedstock economy aligned with national and global decarbonisation targets.

Purpose

“Unlocking the sustainable biofeedstock value chain from farm gate to refinery gate to power green fuel markets”

Vision

Establish South Africa’s first integrated, certified, non-food sustainable bio-feedstock production value chain—from farm gate to refinery gate—for domestic and global markets.
